The City Palace, Jaipur
The
City Palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital, is one of the state’s most popular
tourist destinations. Mubarak Mahal and Chandra Mahal palaces, as well as other
structures, are part of the palace complex.
There
used to be a seat there for the Maharaja of Jaipur. The Chandra Mahal palace
now houses a museum, but the majority of it is still used as a royal residence.

Hawa Mahal, also known as the ‘Palace Of The Winds,’ is a major tourist

City,” Jaipur. Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh designed the five-story palace
in 1799 for the royal women to have a view of the outside world through the
walls.
The
palace has 953 windows, known as ‘Jharokhas.’ The palace was built to resemble
Lord Krishna’s crown.

Jal Mahal, Jaipur
The
Jal Mahal, also known as the “Water Palace,” is the most famous
palace in Rajasthan, and it is situated in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in
Jaipur. Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber expanded and renovated it in the 18th
century.
The
lake, which is about 300 acres in size, is located between the historic cities
of Amer and Jaipur. The Aravalli hills, as well as the ancient forts and
temples, provide a mesmerizing view. In addition, across the bay, one can see
the bustling city of Jaipur.

Lake Pichola, Udaipur
Lake
Pichola is a man-made freshwater lake built by a “Banjara”
(tribesman) during Maharana’s rule. In 1362 AD, he built this lake in Udaipur,

takes its name from the nearby village of Pichola. Two islands, Jag Niwas and
Jag Mandir have been built in the lake, as well as palaces so that tourists

Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. It is recognized as the Keoladeo Ghana National Park
because of its abundance of wildlife and lush green forest.

is home to 230 bird species, 379 flower species, 13 snake species, 50 fish
species, 5 distinct lizard species, 7 amphibian species, 7 turtle species, and
a variety of other invertebrates.
